  2. Great finds and fabulous photos! I love your hens and the cat, of course. He/she made me miss our Jack we lost a few months earlier than we moved from the countryside.

  3. Oh my goodness Meg, your photos are absolutely stunning!!! Do you use a DSLR camera or a point and shoot? My brother gave me a DSLR but it is a bit heavy to lug around the garden so mainly I use my Canon point and shoot which I can put in my pocket. The Macro setting is great for flowers. Sometimes I put the photos into Pixlr to get the vintage look etc. but usually I am too lazy. I also used to like the foliage setting on my camera but lately it seems to make the photos blurry. I really need to do the online courses I paid for to learn how to use the DSLR before I get much older. LOL!

    1. No...not a SLR...my hubs gave me a Nikon Coolpix C610 for my birthday and it's brilliant and although it's not SLR it has 60x zoom and it also allows me to send my pics to my phone away from home.I can take pics of birds miles away and see their feathers. There is a pic of the camera in Oct 2014 post. If I can use it anyone can! The pics I took of the koala a few posts ago were amazing and made the local newspaper website xxx

  4. It's always wonderful to see your garden while all I see is brown grass and bare trees. We are having pretty mild weather though. At least nothing is blooming or budding yet. Your tree heavily loaded with nectarines that are ripening is gorgeous. Thank you for the visual treat!

  5. Meg, you'll have to whisper to me where those Charity Shops are!! I thought I knew all the best ones! You MUST have got that gorgeous rain the other day. I was at a charity shop when it poured, and we were all trapped inside.None of us was complaining. The lawns and trees are looking a bit fresher already!Love your kitty.

  11. I soooo want to hang out on your patio! I don't think you could get a better view. And I couldn't resist free magazines, even though I just finally recycled literally hundreds from my house!
